MöNCHENGLADBACH, Sep. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Manchester City defeated Mönchengladbach by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at Borussia Park in Mönchengladbach.

Mönchengladbach made Manchester City doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Demichelis Martin ('65) and Agüero ('90 on penalty).

The result put Man City third in Group D with 3 points. M'Gladbach is bottom with no points. In their next game, Manchester City will meet second-placed Sevilla at Borussia Park on October 21, while Mönchengladbach will face Juventus.
