Champions League 2015-16 : Juve beats Sevilla 2-0

TURIN, Sep. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Juventus defeated Sevilla by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

Juventus dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish forward Álvaro Morata in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zaza with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Juve top of Group D with 6 points. Sevilla is second with 3 points. In their next game, Juventus will meet Mönchengladbach at the Juventus Stadium on October 21, while Sevilla will face Manchester City.
