Champions League 2015-16 : Man City defeats Sevilla 2-1

MANCHESTER, Oct. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Manchester City defeated Sevilla by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Konoplyanka Yevhen opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Manchester City catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Adil Rami own goal. 1-1 at half time. The Citizens eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by De Bruyne Kevin in stoppage time.

The result put Man City second in Group D with 6 points. Sevilla is third with 3 points. In their next game, Manchester City will meet third-placed Sevilla at the Etihad Stadium on November 3, while Sevilla will face Manchester City.
