SEVILLE, Nov. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Manchester City defeated Sevilla by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville.

All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Raheem Sterling ('8), Fernandinho ('11) and Wilfried Bony ('36).

The result put Man City top of Group D with 9 points. Sevilla is third with 3 points. In their next game, Manchester City will meet second-placed Juventus at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium on November 25, while Sevilla will face Mönchengladbach.
