Champions League 2015-16 : M'Gladbach beats Sevilla 4-2
MöNCHENGLADBACH, Nov. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Mönchengladbach defeated Sevilla by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at Borussia Park in Mönchengladbach.
Lars Stindl scored dual goals
Mönchengladbach dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Lars Stindl in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Foals further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Johnson '68, Raffael Caetano '78 and Stindl '83).
The result put M'Gladbach third in Group D with 5 points. Sevilla is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Mönchengladbach will meet second-placed Manchester City at Borussia Park on December 8, while Sevilla will face Juventus.
