Champions League 2015-16 : BATE beats Roma 3-2

BORISOV, Sep. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : BATE Borisov defeated AS Roma by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 3-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Borisov Arena.

Mladenovic Filip scored dual goals

BATE Borisov dominated the first half thanks to goals from Stasevich Igor ('8) and Mladenovic Filip ('12, '30). Leading 3-0 at the break, BATE Borisov players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.

The result put BATE third in Group E with 3 points. Roma is bottom with one point. In their next game, BATE Borisov will meet group leaders Barcelona at the Borisov Arena on October 20, while AS Roma will face Bayer Leverkusen.
