BORISOV, Oct. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Barcelona defeated BATE Borisov by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Borisov Arena.

Ivan Rakitić scored dual goals

45 minutes of play and neither Barcelona nor BATE Borisov have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with two goals by Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitić at '48 and '64.

The result put Barcelona top of Group E with 7 points. BATE is third with 3 points. In their next game, Barcelona will meet third-placed BATE Borisov at the Borisov Arena on November 4, while BATE Borisov will face Barcelona.
