Champions League 2015-16 : Barcelona beats BATE 3-0

BARCELONA, Nov. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Barcelona defeated BATE Borisov by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.

Neymar scored dual goals

Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Neymar in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Suárez '60 and Neymar '83).

The result put Barcelona top of Group E with 10 points. BATE is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Barcelona will meet second-placed AS Roma at the Camp Nou on November 24, while BATE Borisov will face Bayer Leverkusen.
