Champions League 2015-16 : Roma defeats Bayer 3-2

ROME, Nov. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : AS Roma defeated Bayer Leverkusen by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to goals from Salah ('2) and Džeko ('29). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pjanić on penalty with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.

The result put Roma second in Group E with 5 points. Bayer is third with 4 points. In their next game, AS Roma will meet group leaders Barcelona at the Stadio Olimpico on November 24, while Bayer Leverkusen will face BATE Borisov.
