Champions League 2015-16 : Dinamo Zagreb defeats Arsenal 2-1

ZAGREB, Sep. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Dinamo Zagreb defeated Arsenal by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.

Dinamo Zagreb dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Pivaric in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Modri” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fernandes in the 58th minute.

The result put Dinamo Zagreb second in Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Dinamo Zagreb will meet group leaders Bayern Munich at the Maksimir Stadium on September 29, while Arsenal will face Olympiacos.
