Champions League 2015-16 : Bayern Munich defeats Arsenal 5-1

MUNICH, Nov. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Bayern Munich defeated Arsenal by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 3-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Thomas Müller scored dual goals

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lewandowski ('10), Müller ('29) and Alaba ('44). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Robben '55 and Müller '89).

The result put Bayern Munich top of Group F with 9 points. Arsenal is third with 3 points. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet second-placed Olympiacos at the Allianz Arena on November 24, while Arsenal will face Dinamo Zagreb.
