ATHENS, Dec. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Arsenal defeated Olympiacos by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens.

Olivier Giroud scored tripple goals

Arsenal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Olivier Giroud in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gunners further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Giroud '49, '67/penalty).
