Champions League 2015-16 : Porto defeats Chelsea 2-1

PORTO, Sep. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Porto defeated Chelsea by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto.

Porto midfielder André André opened the score in the 39th minute, before seeing Chelsea catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Willian Borges Da Silva. 1-1 at half time. The Dragons eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Maicon Roque in the 52nd minute.

The result put Porto second in Group G with 4 points. Chelsea is third with 3 points. In their next game, Porto will meet Maccabi Tel Aviv at the Estádio do Dragão on October 20, while Chelsea will face Dynamo Kiev.
