Champions League 2015-16 : Dynamo Kiev defeats Maccabi 2-0

HAIFA, Sep. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Dynamo Kiev defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa.

Dynamo Kiev dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Yarmolenko Andrey in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Bilo-Syni” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moraes Junior in the 50th minute.

The result put Dynamo Kiev top of Group G with 4 points. Maccabi is bottom with no points. In their next game, Dynamo Kiev will meet third-placed Chelsea at the Sammy Ofer Stadium on October 20, while Maccabi Tel Aviv will face Porto.
