Champions League 2015-16 : Gent beats Lyon 2-1

LYON, Nov. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Gent defeated Lyon by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Stade de Gerland in Lyon.

Lyon midfielder Jordan Ferri opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing Gent catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Milicevic Danijel. 1-1 at half time. The “Buffalos” eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Coulibaly Kalifa in stoppage time.

The result put Gent second in Group H with 7 points. Lyon is bottom with one point. In their last game, Gent will meet group leaders Zenit St Petersburg at the Stade de Gerland on December 9, while Lyon will face Valencia.
