Champions League 2015-16 : Gent and Zenit qualify for the Round of 16
GHENT, Dec. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Gent defeated Zenit St Petersburg by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the AFG Arena in Ghent.
Gent dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Depoitre Laurent in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the “Buffalos” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Milicevic Danijel in the 78th minute.
