Champions League 2015-16 : Valencia and Lyon both exit Champions League

VALENCIA, Dec. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Lyon defeated Valencia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Mestalla Stadium in Valencia.

Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ivorian forward Maxwel Cornet in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lacazette in the 76th minute.
