Wolfsburg beats Gent to reach Champions League quarterfinals
WOLFSBURG, Mar. 8, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Wolfsburg defeated Gent by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Wolfsburg midfielder André Schürrle in the 74th minute.
