SAINT PETERSBURG, Mar. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Benfica defeated Zenit St Petersburg by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at the Petrovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg.
45 minutes of play and neither Benfica nor Zenit St Petersburg have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Gaitan Nicolas ('85) and Talisca Anderson ('90).
