Atletico beats PSV in shoot out to reach Champions League quarterfinals
MADRID, Mar. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Atletico Madrid defeated PSV Eindhoven on penalties 8-7, after the match ended 0-0 in regulation time, in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid.
The score was still nil-all at the end of the regulation game time and overtime. Los Colchoneros finally emerged the victors in the penalty shootout session by winning 8-7.
