Barcelona beats Arsenal to reach Champions League quarterfinals
BARCELONA, Mar. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Barcelona defeated Arsenal by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at the Camp Nou in Barcelona.
Barcelona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Brazilian forward Neymar in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Barca further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Suárez '65 and Messi '88).
