Atletico loses to Bayern Munich but reaches Champions League final
May. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2015-16 : Bayern Munich defeated Atletico Madrid by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a semifinals on Tuesday.
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Xabi Alonso in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lewandowski in the 74th minute.
