Champions League 2016-17 : Basel draw 1-1 with Ludogorets Razgrad

BASEL, Sep. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Basel tied 1-1 with Ludogorets Razgrad (halftime: 0-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at St. Jakob-Park in Basel.

Ludogorets Razgrad players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Cafu Jonathan in the 45th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Basel with a saving goal from Steffen Renato in the 79th minute.

The result left all four teams in Group A (Arsenal, Basel, Ludogorets Razgrad and PSG), tied with one point. In their next game, Ludogorets Razgrad will meet group leaders PSG at St. Jakob-Park on September 28, while Basel will face Arsenal.
