Champions League 2016-17 : PSG hold Arsenal to 1-1

PARIS, Sep. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : PSG tied 1-1 with Arsenal (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

PSG players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani in the 1st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Arsenal with a saving goal from Chilian forward Alexis Sánchez in the 78th minute.

The result left all four teams in Group A (Arsenal, Basel, Ludogorets Razgrad and PSG), tied with one point. In their next game, Arsenal will meet group leaders Basel at the Parc des Princes on September 28, while PSG will face Ludogorets Razgrad.
