Champions League 2016-17 : PSG defeats Ludogorets Razgrad 3-1

SOFIA, Sep. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : PSG defeated Ludogorets Razgrad by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia.

Edinson Cavani scored dual goals

Natanael Pimienta opened the score in the 16th minute, before seeing PSG catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Blaise Matuidi. 1-1 at half time. PSG eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Cavani ('56, '60).

The result put PSG top of Group A with 4 points. Ludogorets Razgrad is third with one point. In their next game, PSG will meet Basel at the Vasil Levski National Stadium on October 19, while Ludogorets Razgrad will face Arsenal.
