Champions League 2016-17 : Besiktas and Dynamo Kiev play to a 1-1 draw

ISTANBUL, Sep. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Besiktas tied 1-1 with Dynamo Kiev (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.

Besiktas players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Portuguese forward Ricardo Quaresma in the 29th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Dynamo Kiev with a saving goal from Tsygankov Viktor in the 65th minute.

The result put Besiktas second in Group B with 2 points. Dynamo Kiev is third with one point. In their next game, Besiktas will meet group leaders Napoli at the Vodafone Arena on October 19, while Dynamo Kiev will face Benfica.
