GLASGOW, Oct. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Mönchengladbach defeated Celtic by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at Celtic Park in Glasgow.

45 minutes of play and neither Mönchengladbach nor Celtic have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Stindl ('57) and Hahn ('77).

The result put M'Gladbach third in Group C with 3 points. Celtic is bottom with one point. In their next game, Mönchengladbach will meet Celtic at Celtic Park on November 1, while Celtic will face Mönchengladbach.
