Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich beats Rostov 5-0

MUNICH, Sep. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich defeated Rostov by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Joshua Kimmich scored dual goals

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lewandowski ('28 on penalty) and Müller ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Kimmich '53, '60 and Bernat '90).

The result put Bayern Munich top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet second-placed Atletico Madrid at the Allianz Arena on September 28, while Rostov will face PSV Eindhoven.
