Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich defeats PSV 4-1

MUNICH, Oct. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich defeated PSV Eindhoven by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('13) and Kimmich ('21). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lewandowski '59 and Robben '84).

The result put Bayern Munich second in Group D with 6 points. PSV is third with one point. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet third-placed PSV Eindhoven at the Allianz Arena on November 1, while PSV Eindhoven will face Bayern Munich.
