Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich beats PSV 2-1

EINDHOVEN, Nov. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Bayern Munich defeated PSV Eindhoven by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.

Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals

Arias Santiago opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Bayern Munich catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Robert Lewandowski penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Bavarians eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Lewandowski in the 74th minute.

The result put Bayern Munich second in Group D with 9 points. PSV is third with one point. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet Rostov at the Philips Stadion on November 23, while PSV Eindhoven will face Atletico Madrid.
