Champions League 2016-17 : Rostov beats Bayern Munich 3-2

ROSTOV-ON-DON, Nov. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Rostov defeated Bayern Munich by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Olimp-2 Stadium in Rostov-on-Don.

Costa Douglas opened the score in the 35th minute, before seeing Rostov catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Azmoun Serdar. 1-1 at half time. Rostov eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Poloz Dmitry ('49 on penalty) and Noboa Christian ('67).

The result put Bayern Munich second in Group D with 9 points. Rostov is third with 4 points. In their last game, Bayern Munich will meet group leaders Atletico Madrid at the Olimp-2 Stadium on December 6, while Rostov will face PSV Eindhoven.
