LEVERKUSEN, Sep. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Bayer Leverkusen tied 2-2 with CSKA Moscow (halftime: 2-2), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the BayArena in Leverkusen.
Two goals for both sides in the first half, Mehmedi ('9) and Çalhanoğlu ('15) for Bayer Leverkusen, Dzagoev ('36) and Eremenko ('38) for CSKA Moscow and none in the second.
The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group E with one point. In their next game, CSKA Moscow will meet Tottenham at the BayArena on September 27, while Bayer Leverkusen will face Monaco.
