MOSCOW, Sep. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Tottenham defeated CSKA Moscow by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Arena CSKA in Moscow.

45 minutes of play and neither Tottenham nor CSKA Moscow have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Korean forward Son Heung-min in the 71st minute.

The result put Tottenham second in Group E with 3 points. CSKA Moscow is bottom with one point. In their next game, Tottenham will meet third-placed Bayer Leverkusen at the Arena CSKA on October 18, while CSKA Moscow will face Monaco.
