MONACO, Nov. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Monaco defeated Tottenham by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.

45 minutes of play and neither Monaco nor Tottenham have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Sidibé ('48) and Lemar ('53).

The result put Monaco top of Group E with 11 points. Tottenham is third with 4 points. In their last game, Monaco will meet second-placed Bayer Leverkusen at the Stade Louis II on December 7, while Tottenham will face CSKA Moscow.
