DORTMUND, Nov. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Borussia Dortmund defeated Sporting Lisbon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

All the action happened in the first half, with Borussia Dortmund striker Adrián Ramos goal in the 12th minute.

The result put Dortmund top of Group F with 10 points. Sporting is third with 3 points. In their next game, Borussia Dortmund will meet Legia Warsaw at the Westfalenstadion on November 22, while Sporting Lisbon will face Real Madrid.
