DORTMUND, Nov. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Borussia Dortmund defeated Legia Warsaw by a big score of 8-4 (halftime: 5-2), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.

Shinji Kagawa and Marco Reus scored dual goals

Legia Warsaw opened the score in the score in the 10th minute thanks to Prijovic Aleksandar, before Borussia Dortmund regained the advantage with Kagawa ('17, '18), Şahin ('20), Dembele Ousmane ('29) and Reus ('32). Leading 5-2 at the break, BVB further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Reus '52, Passlack Felix '81 and Rzezniczak Jakub '90/own).

The result put Dortmund top of Group F with 13 points. Legia Warsaw is bottom with one point. In their last game, Borussia Dortmund will meet second-placed Real Madrid at the Westfalenstadion on December 7, while Legia Warsaw will face Sporting Lisbon.
