Champions League 2016-17 : Real Madrid and Dortmund qualify for the Round of 16

MADRID, Dec. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Real Madrid tied 2-2 with Borussia Dortmund (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.

Real Madrid players started off well by taking the lead thanks to French forward Karim Benzema in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Benzema goal ('53) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Borussia Dortmund with goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ('60) and Marco Reus ('88).
