Champions League 2016-17 : Leicester beats Club Brugge 3-0

BRUGES, Sep. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Leicester defeated Club Brugge by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Jan Breydel Stadium in Bruges.

Riyad Mahrez scored dual goals

Leicester dominated the first half thanks to goals from Albrighton ('5) and Mahrez ('29). Leading 2-0 at the break, Leicester players further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Mahrez on penalty in the 61st minute.

The result put Leicester top of Group G with 3 points. In their next game, Leicester will meet second-placed Porto at the Jan Breydel Stadium on September 27, while Club Brugge will face Copenhagen.
