Champions League 2016-17 : Lyon beats Dinamo Zagreb 3-0

LYON, Sep. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Lyon defeated Dinamo Zagreb by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.

Lyon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Corentin Tolisso in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, “Les Gones” further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ferri '49 and Cornet '57).

The result put Lyon top of Group H with 3 points. In their next game, Lyon will meet second-placed Sevilla at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais on September 27, while Dinamo Zagreb will face Juventus.
