Champions League 2016-17 : Juve beats Lyon 1-0

LYON, Oct. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Juventus defeated Lyon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon.

Lyon made Juventus doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado in the 76th minute.

The result put Juve top of Group H with 7 points. Lyon is third with 3 points. In their next game, Juventus will meet third-placed Lyon at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais on November 2, while Lyon will face Juventus.
