Champions League 2016-17 : Juve and Lyon play out 1-1 draw

TURIN, Nov. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Juventus tied 1-1 with Lyon (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Wednesday night at the Juventus Stadium in Turin.

Juventus players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine forward Gonzalo Higuaín on penalty in the 13th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Lyon with a saving goal from Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso in the 84th minute.

The result put Juve second in Group H with 8 points. Lyon is third with 4 points. In their next game, Juventus will meet group leaders Sevilla at the Juventus Stadium on November 22, while Lyon will face Dinamo Zagreb.
