Champions League 2016-17 : Juve beats Sevilla 3-1

SEVILLE, Nov. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Juventus defeated Sevilla by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville.

Sevilla defender Nicolás Pareja opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Juventus catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Claudio Marchisio penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. La Vecchia Signora eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Bonucci ('84) and Mandžukić ('90).

The result put Juve top of Group H with 11 points. Sevilla is second with 10 points. In their last game, Juventus will meet Dinamo Zagreb at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium on December 7, while Sevilla will face Lyon.
