MADRID, Apr. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Atletico Madrid defeated Leicester by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a quarterfinals on Wednesday night at the Vicente Calderon Stadium in Madrid.

All the action happened in the first half, with Atletico Madrid midfielder Antoine Griezmann goal on penalty in the 28th minute.

The second leg between Atletico Madrid and Leicester will be played on Tuesday April 18, 2017 (kick-off: 20:45) in Leicester.
