Real Madrid beats Bayern Munich in extra time to advance to Champions League semifinals
MADRID, Apr. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich 4-2 after extra time, in the second leg of a quarterfinals on Tuesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored tripple goals
The score was still 1-2 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after goals from Robert Lewandowski ('53 on penalty) and Sergio Ramos ('78 own goal) for Bayern Munich and Cristiano Ronaldo ('76) for Real Madrid, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. Los Blancos finally broke through with goals from Ronaldo ('105, '110) and Asensio ('112).
