Monaco beats Dortmund to advance to Champions League semifinals
MONACO, Apr. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Monaco defeated Borussia Dortmund by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the second leg of a quarterfinals on Wednesday night at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.
Monaco dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mbappé ('3) and Falcao ('17). Leading 2-0 at the break, Monaco players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Germain with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
