Champions League 2016-17 : Sevilla beats Leicester 2-1

SEVILLE, Feb. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Sevilla defeated Leicester by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville.

Sevilla dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Pablo Sarabia in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Sevillistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Correa in the 62nd minute.

The second leg between Sevilla and Leicester will be played on Tuesday March 14, 2017 (kick-off: 20:45) in Leicester.
