Dortmund beats Benfica to reach Champions League quarterfinals
DORTMUND, Mar. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Borussia Dortmund defeated Benfica by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Wednesday night at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored tripple goals
Borussia Dortmund dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, BVB further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pulisic Christian '59 and Aubameyang '61, '85).
