Leicester beats Sevilla to reach Champions League quarterfinals
LEICESTER, Mar. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2016-17 : Leicester defeated Sevilla by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a round of 16 game on Tuesday night at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
Leicester dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Jamaican defender Wes Morgan in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Leicester players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Albrighton in the 54th minute.
