Champions League 2017-18 : Basel beats Benfica 2-0 to qualify for the Round of 16

LISBON, Dec. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Basel defeated Benfica by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon.

Basel dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Elyounoussi Mohamed in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, FCB further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Oberlin Dimitri in the 65th minute.
