Champions League 2017-18 : Bayern Munich beats Anderlecht 3-0

MUNICH, Sep. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Champions League 2017-18 : Bayern Munich defeated Anderlecht by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Polish forward Robert Lewandowski in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Alcántara '65 and Kimmich '90).

The result put Bayern Munich second in Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Bayern Munich will meet group leaders PSG at the Allianz Arena on September 27, while Anderlecht will face Celtic.
